Renée has been delighting audiences at Beach Blanket Babylon for over 33 years. Beach Blanket Babylon is the world’s longest running musical review spanning a 45 year run. Renée herself is the longest running performer in a musical review, ever (mic drop). The SF Chronicle calls Renée San Francisco’s “resident diva” and a “local treasure”. Her work has prompted a Certificate of Honor from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the Mayor at the 55th Anniversary of the Human Rights Commission for the Pleasant-Leidesdorff San Francisco Community Stalwart Award. Additionally, she was recognized and cited for her invaluable cultural contributions to the City as the longest running performer with Beach Blanket Babylon.

Renée debuted as feature soloist for Jazz Faire IV with Quincy Jones. Theatrical performances include For Colored Girls…, Jesus Christ SuperstarAin’t Misbehavin’TintypesThey’re Playing Our SongEubieTwelfth Night, and Merry Wives of Windsor.

A native San Franciscan who studied Environmental Biology at San Jose State University, she previously directed the SFSU Jazz Choir as Vocal Jazz Coach. Renée provides private vocal and audition coaching with Dr. Dee Spencer and is honored to have worked with X-Factor semi-finalist Jason Brock. Other credits include voice over work in radio and television.
